Thu, Sep 19 – Fri, Sep 20
Did you do well on your assignments and demonstrate that you can tackle a project in quantum computing? If so, you will receive an invitation to proceed with the actual hackathon!

Sat, Sep 21 (at the City College of New York)
The hackathon begins. Day one will consist of talks from folks in the industry, as well as a training session on how to use qBraid, the programming tool that you’ll be using to write your programs. You will also meet with your teammates and mentors to work on your idea generation process and get a chance to speak to industry leaders in the AQ space.

Sun, Sep 22 (at Columbia University)
On Day Two of the hackathon, there will be more talks in the morning followed by a continuation of the idea generation process.

Mon, Sep 23 – Fri, Sep 27

Get to work! This is when you and your team will tackle the problem you chose to solve during the kickoff, using quantum programming. To help you along the way, your team’s mentor(s) will be available for regular online meetings over the course of the week.

Sat, Sep 28 (at NYU Tandon School of Engineering)

It all leads up to this final day when your team gets to showcase its work and potentially win a prize!

Please make sure that the above time commitments work with your schedule before registering. This event will be a lot of fun and an incredibly valuable experience, but it will require you to work hard and be very focused!
